Jordan Wertheimer, CCRC
Jordan joined PRA in June 2011. He has since held positions of increasing responsibility within the company, including Senior Clinical Research Coordinator and Head of Recruitment. In April of 2014, Jordan was promoted to Site Director of Peninsula Research Associates. As Site Director, Jordan oversees and manages all daily operations at PRA. He is responsible for the execution of our clinical trials, ensuring regulatory guidelines and study protocols are strictly followed. Jordan also negotiates study budgets and contracts and serves as the liaison between PRA and the study sponsors.
Jordan has been working in a patient medical care setting for over seven years. As a student athletic trainer at the University of Arizona’s Kasser Medical Treatment Center, Jordan developed skills in the treatment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of sports-related injuries. He also gained experience working with electrical stimulation, ultrasounds, phonophoresis, deep muscle stimulation, Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM), traction, OSHA, and blood borne pathogen care. Jordan also completed an internship in the Department of Pathology at Marin General Hospital in Larkspur, California. Under the guidance of Dr. Paul Wasserstein, Jordan dissected donor organs and created tissue sample cassettes in order to analyze the cells microscopically.
Jordan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona. He also is a certified phlebotomy technician and a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals. Jordan is currently working towards getting his MBA from Pepperdine University.
